Last week, the kids were home from school and I thought I would take a break from my afghan project and crochet their hats quickly. "This is an adult hat that hat a bumpy texture because of alternating single crochet and triple crochet. The thing to keep in mind about this hat is that you have to turn every round. There is a row of single crochet worked on the right side of the hat and the alternating single and triple crochet is worked on the wrong side to give it the bumpy texture. I made this hat with Caron Simply Soft and a size H hook, but you can use a similar weight yarn (size 4)."

Both sides of the hat are good looking so you can choose the opposite side for a completely different look. The inside circumference of the hat is approximately 18 inches."
