Fall is Coming Shawl

I had so many ideas for this summer, I've even finished many projects I had put on hold, and now they only need to be written, and posted. But time says its word, and summer is almost leaving us. So when I received this alize burcum yarn, I envisioned this shawl immediately and began working on it. It's easy to make once you know how to crochet the six petal flower, which by the way, is popular. I incorporated it in this triangle shawl in a way that makes it almost unnoticeable at first glance, then, after a few seconds, you see multi-colored flowers in between the mono repetitive clusters pattern. It's fun. I hope you enjoy making this fall welcoming shawl!

If you are looking for a fun and easy crochet project with beautiful results, this one will not disappoint. One skein of yarn makes this lovely shawl. Emerald Isle Butterfly Shawl

Since the last 2 shawls were so successful, I thought you would want another big shawl to crochet. The Bat-terfly shawl is beautiful but I really like those plus-size shawls that are so great for all sizes! My daughter is 11 but she still grabbed up the shawl all the same and started wrapping it around herself in many different ways! It can be a dress for her or a cowl, scarf, a big poncho, or even a small poncho! For this project you will need 4 mm hook or size G hook. For the yarn, I used a Yarn cake from YarnArt 'Flowers' yarn, color 272 Content 55% Organic Cotton 45% Anti Pilling Acrylic Ball Weight 250 g (8.8 oz) Yarn Weight 1  Fingering Yarn Length 1,000 m (1,093 yd).

Granny Square Rectangle Shawl

At a garage sale, I scored a crocheted piece that I perceived to be a rectangle shawl, but could have been a table runner. It was comprised of two large granny squares seamed together with a single crochet join. While I was not crazy about the colors and there was some paint that got on it at some point, I was in love with the idea, and took it home as inspiration for this shawl.
