This mandala was created with the spirit of the Irish, but would look great in lots of colors. Picot stitches add texture as an art piece but are easy to block flat for use on the table. This design is large for a doily at 24" (61 cm), but the open lace stitches work up quickly in worsted weight. Even at that size, it only uses 5 oz of acrylic yarn! Pattern requires a small amount of blocking to shape the lace, but no pinning required - Just shape and leave flat to dry.
