Hidden deep in an enchanted meadow, the Easter Bunny has a secret garden. A magical garden where he grows his most lovely and special Easter eggs. He has given me permission to re-create his garden in crochet and share the pattern with you. We hope you will enjoy it! Made with size 10 cotton, a size 7 (1.65mm) hook, and lots of love and imagination!
Although it’s called the winter meadow, this spring rug is ideal for a moden or Scandinavian interior. As you can see, it is an absolute match for wooden interiors of a pale hue, such as pine and oak.

Ever since designing my very first character Christmas towel in 2019, (the Snowman Kitchen Towel), I’ve wanted to design other character towels to celebrate all of the holidays. The Easter Bunny Crochet Hand Towel & Washcloth Set was designed to add a little fun, crochet decor to your home for the Easter Season. YARN Cotton is the go-to fiber for crochet dish cloths, dish towels, and hand towels as it’s the most absorbent. There are several cotton yarns out there that would be perfect for this project, but I chose to use Lily Sugar n’ Cream 100% worsted weight cotton yarn. Lily Sugar n’ Cream is available in 39 colors so I was able to find all of the colors I needed for this project within the same yarn line.
There are so many ways to gather eggs: a vintage basket, a repurposed bucket, a recycled egg carton etc. But have you seen the crochet egg gathering apron with 19 perfectly egg-shaped pockets before? It even has one large pocket which can hold cell phone, to-do list, pen or other items. It’s such a practical and adorable way to gather eggs from your flock. It is a fun and superior replacement to the traditional basket. There will no more broken eggs or struggling with lids and latches with limited use of your hands. If you want to have your own special apron like this, here is the Crochet Apron Free Pattern for you. If you’ve got kiddos who love helping out around the farm, you can even get them a child-sized pattern. It’s also the perfect accessory for the coming Easter egg hunting.
