The regular scarf takes one 7 oz. skein of worsted weight yarn. The example in the pattern is made with Red Heart. The over-sized scarf takes 12 oz. of worsted weight yarn. The example in the pattern uses Caron One Pound. The pattern could also be worked with less repeats to make a cowl.
