Winter's Coming Hooded Scarf

This is a very cozy hooded scarf! This winter scarf is crocheted using a traditional granny stitch and it has a ribbed edge created with front and back post double crochet stitches. The finished scarf length is approximately 62 inches and the width of the scarf is approximately 9.5 inches. The hood height is 13 inches X 13 inches wide (when flat). You can easily change the length of the scarf shorter (to make this a hooded cowl or hooded infinity scarf) or longer to have much more scarf to wrap around on the outside of your jacket or coat. Have fun making this easy hooded scarf with my free pattern!

Granny's Hood

Granny’s Hood is actually a scoodie: a scarf with an attached hood. The scarf is made with granny squares, and the hood is made with sides of 1/4 circle grannies, and granny squares down the center. Bright, happy, rainbow colors of Sugar Bush Bold yarn are used making this piece full of joy. Due to the way the scoodie is constructed, it fits many sizes. The parts of the scoodie are joined using the join-as-you-go method, so there is no seaming. If you want the scarf to be longer or shorter, just add or subtract squares from the scarf section, it's quite simple. Brighten up the white winter with Granny’s Hood!

Criss Cross Ridges Infinity Scarf

"The Criss Cross Ridges Infinity Scarf has so much fun texture and works up nice and quickly! It's so soft and squishy, while also being a nice weight for milder temperatures between seasons. This infinity scarf is long enough to wrap twice. It comes out to approximately 60 inches in length. This scarf looks super fun in this self-striping rainbow effect yarn, but would also look beautiful made with one solid color of yarn. When finished, this infinity scarf is approximately 60 inches long and 6 inches wide. I hope you love making this scarf! "

The Take Me Outside infinity scarf pattern is created with beginner crocheters in mind. Super simple with just the double crochet stitch, it is easy to crochet. This pattern offers two versions. You can make it in the round or crochet it flat and join the ends to make your infinity scarf. It uses a bulky number 5 yarn and an N hook. It looks great with jeans and a casual sweater and also with a winters coat for those extra chilly days. I used Loops and Threads Charisma in Sunny Day.
