Afton Men's Crochet Ear Warmer

Hats and Beanies

This free crochet men’s ear warmer pattern is perfect for making a gift your guy will actually wear! This ear warmer is made by working in continuous rounds to crochet a long tube. The tube is then joined and you're left with a double thick ear warmer. It's quick, it's simple, and it gives a great knitted look with nice stretch. It's made with a Category 1 super fine yarn that's such a lovely blend of wool, silk and cotton and uses a fun stitch: the half double crochet in the third loop.

Crochet Bandana Pattern by Bandana Heads

Hats and Beanies

This versatile crochet bandana pattern is suitable for men and women with long hair and can be adapted to all seasons by varying the type of yarn. A crochet bandana or head scarf is an ideal hair accessory for travelers.

The multi-colored bandana featured here is a blend of cotton, silk and wool. A solid color also looks good. A practical feature of this textured crochet bandana is that it is worked from the lower tip and therefore extra rows can be added if necessary.

Third Loop HDC Messy Bun Hat

Hats and Beanies

Third Loop HDC Messy Bun Hat

Erin from The Cookie Snob designed her version of the messy bun beanie in the style of her series of 3 mL beanies. They hold more than 3 milliliters, but the backstory for the name includes some fun geekery. And to create the rows of horizontal chains, she works into the third loop of the half double crochet stitches. It's a fun way to make a hat with a popular look!

The Parker Crochet Head Warmer

Hats and Beanies

More than just a headband or ear warmer, the Crochet Head Warmer is a gorgeous and unique winter accessory. It's the perfect handmade blend of a headband and earmuffs that will keep you warm through the cold winter months. I love the idea of giving a regular ear warmer headband extra warmth by adding on ear flaps. They are like ear muffs, but better in my opinion. This pattern is not as complicated as it looks!
