Here is another free pattern of crochet fingerless gloves! It’s a simple design and easy enough for beginners! The design is similar to the fingerless gloves I previously shared with you with a different type of crochet stitch. The type of stitch I’m using here is commonly used for ribbing on cardigans, jumpers/sweaters, hats/beanies etc. The stitch makes an elastic, soft and stretchy fabric which makes it great for fingerless gloves! "With these Granny Square Fingerless Gloves i designed them as simple as they could possibly be so they would be perfect for beginner crocheters. You will start by crocheting a square that fits your hand and then simply seam them together down one side and leave a gap for your thumb hole, how simple is that?! For this crochet project i used scrap yarn that i had leftover from shawl patterns so i decided to use that, i made mine in a color sequence but you could easily make every round a different color depending on what you got in your stash. I used aran yarn for mine from Cascade Yarns, you can use any yarn for yours just make sure your square fits your hand, it’s really as simple as that."
These fingerless gloves are soft, cozy, stretchy and slightly oversized to keep your fingers mostly covered and warm. They are seriously like little hand sweaters! The row repeats creates a fabric that is reversible, so you get to pick your right side of fabric. These are a quick make and are great for gifting. They are one size fits most for men, women, and teens. They require a 6mm hook and about 150 meters of bulky weight yarn.
