Pretty Posies Square
"The Pretty Posies Afghan Square was designed to work well with my Sweet and Simple Afghan Square Pattern. Both patterns are crocheted with Scheepjes Stone Washed Yarn from the mini skein Colour Pack. When you make these with the Sport Weight Yarn 2 and a 4 mm (G) hook they measure approximately 4 inches square. When you use Medium Weight Yarn and the hook indicated on the yarn label, you can expect a square approximately 6 inches X 6 inches in size. This design begins with the leaves and the flower portion of the project. You can stop after the flower section and you will have a pretty flower embellishment you can use on other projects. I have included step-by-step photo tutorials for all parts of this square. They are available in my blog post with the free copy of the pattern."
Calla Lily Flower Afghan Block
Potholders and hot pads really come in handy for warm and delicious food. And there s no reason why they shouldn t liven up the table too. Colorful crochet potholder patterns are frequently overlooked, but they have a lot of potential for being not only functional but cute. This Calla Lily Flower Potholder Free Crochet Pattern is one of the most beautiful potholder patterns I have seen. It adds a lot fun and brightness to your kitchen supplies. The unique shape and pretty design of this give it unexpected appeal and elegance. It makes this an excellent last-minute gift idea for any housewarming party on your calendar. Happy crocheting.

Tunisian Cross Stitch Afghan Block
"I simply love when you can use a simple crochet stitch and put a twist on it. This creates a beautiful new stitch that looks so much different by just changing a small thing. That is exactly what the Tunisian crochet cross stitch is. Simply put, you work two Tunisian simple stitches but crossed over. It is a super simple technique suitable for beginners. I have used this beautifully textured stitch for a simple afghan block. It would look lovely as part of a Tunisian stitch sampler blanket or cushion cover. You can also make this square with a 100% cotton yarn and use it as a washcloth or a facecloth."
