"Raise your hand if you love grocery shopping. Now, if you have your hand raised, can you go ahead and do my shopping too? I chuckle a little here because I'm not a fan of grocery shopping. Maybe with this Crochet Boho Grocery Bag, I would be a bit more excited to pick up fresh foods. Browsing the aisles when I don't have a huge list is enjoyable. Like when it's just for fun and a few snacks. This grocery bag is just perfect for small items."

This bag has a modern, boho feel and it's designed to be both sturdy and stretchy to accommodate all of your shopping needs. This bag is a great alternative to a tote and is perfect for outings from shopping at the farmer’s market and grocery store to carrying along snacks on road trips. It also makes a wonderful beach bag to hold towels, sunscreen, anything else you might need. This bag takes a little time to crochet up, but I promise it's all worth it!

The Ultimate Recycled Market Bag is the best thing you can take shopping. Because it is made of plarn, or cut up plastic grocery bags, you are still taking grocery sacks to the store with you. (Learn How to Make Plarn with the FaveCrafts video tutorial.) This way is just much greener and safer than using regular plastic bags and works well if you just want to run by the outdoor farmer's market. Be environment-friendly while you do your regular weekly shopping with this free crochet pattern that is the perfect recycled bag to use every single week.

1 Skein Farmer's Market Bag

Don't go to farmers markets without a tote of your own - make sure to bring along the 1 Skein Farmer's Market Bag. In the designer's own words, "this slouchy farmer’s market bag is perfect for shopping and hauling all kinds of goodies! It only uses one skein of yarn and can be used countless times instead of those icky plastic bags that really hurt our planet. I recommend using a cotton yarn for durability but photographed is an acrylic (I Love This Yarn in Pasha). Hope you guys enjoy this one, don't forget to post as a project so I can see your beautiful bags!

Market Bag Free Crochet Pattern

This Crochet Market Bag would be great for shopping at the grocery store or farmer’s market, carrying other crochet projects or going to the pool. Basic crochet stiches - single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet stitches are all you need to know to make this Market Bag. The instructions have detailed directions for crocheting the handle. The bag measures approximately 16" x 9” (not including the handles). The handles are short and sturdy. Some shoulder straps really stretch and almost make the bag unusable, so I created this bag to be a ‘handbag’ and not a shoulder bag.
