Mighty Fine Day Bag
Small But Mighty Tote
"This small but mighty tote is perfect for those times you just need to carry small amounts of shopping. The net design allows it to expand and accommodate a surprising amount of items despite its small size. Using Coboo yarn by Lion Brand makes it easy to wash. Finished size: ten and a half inches (26.6 cm) wide by nine inches (22.8 cm) tall (measurements do not include handles). Time to make: less than an evening."
Beach Day Crochet Bag Free Crochet Pattern
"This Beach Day Crochet Bag Pattern is the second pattern I've designed for the Beach Day Pattern Collection. It is perfect to throw all of your beachy things in, and run out the door for your fun day at the beach. When I was designing this bag pattern, I wanted to create a simple bag that also had a little extra to it that anyone can make. So I started brainstorming and came up with a pattern that only uses the basic stitches. Yes, you're reading that right! This pattern only uses chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet."
Market Day Bag
Over the years I have made a couple different bags, I have made two Totally Toteable Totes and the Honeycomb Beach Bag but I didn’t have a market bag yet, so I had to design the Market Day Bag! When I discovered Lion Brand’s 24/7 Cotton, I knew I needed to make a market bag with it! I wanted a bag that had a gorgeous open lace like look but it also needed to have a gorgeous texture. Even though the fabric has a lace like look, the fabric is strong and durable!
Rainy Day Rainbow Drawstring Bag
You will love this rainy day rainbow drawstring pouch pattern. It is the first of five rainy day projects I have planned for this upcoming week. Each rainy day project can be completed in a day. The pattern is worked in the round from the bottom up. The bottom circle of the pouch is made in double crochet, and the top and sides are made in half double crochet.
Beach Wave Tote Bag
Create this gorgeous puff tote bag! This bag works up quickly and uses 7, 2.5 oz of 100% cotton yarn. I used Lily Sugar’n Cream yarn in 7 colors. Each skein will be enough to complete each color sequence on both sides with a little bit left over. You will crochet directly into the zipper for this project (this part is super easy!). Just poke into the zipper with an awl or sharp thicker needle and insert your crochet hook in the hole and crochet as usual. You will work both sides then sc pieces together with an outter seam. The finished bag measures 21″ wide and 14″ tall. You can add a lining if you plan on using the bag for smaller items, for larger items the bag will be fine as is. Enjoy the free pattern!
Inventive Messenger Bag
"This crochet bag is a slightly different one from the "Inventive Bag" that I shared before. Someone else wanted a bag exactly as the Inventive bag but to be used as a messenger bag and with a larger size so I added a strap and more rows. In this one I didn't use back loop stitches, I made more rows so there are 20 for each color section. I cross stitched holding two yarns togethers instead of one, didn't sc around in the end each piece separately, I couldn't line it yet but It is fine as it is, I think. I also steam blocked it. And after that process I steam blocked every crochet product I find at home. I loved it. "
My Go To Bag
Straps 26 inches long and 2 inches wide Bag 17 inches long by 15 inches wide when measured on a flat surface Handle Drop 14 inches My Go To Bag is my practical, everyday crocheted bag. I wanted a bag I could use for everything - from beach bag to book bag - a single crocheted base gives this bag extra support - the first few rounds are crocheted in double crochet and then the main bag is worked up in an easy to work granny stitch stripe pattern. I chose to make my straps slightly wider than most bags because when you fill the bag and the straps stretch, they will remain comfortable on your shoulders. If you would like to have a narrower strap, it is very easy to change the width of the strap. Simply add one extra decrease repeat of: Sc2tog, 1 sc in each of the next 2 sts, sc2tog. Ch 1, turn. 4 in place of R11 of the straps and for R80 work: 2 sc in the first st, 1 sc in each of the next 2 sts, 2 sc in the last st, ch 1, turn. 6. Have fun making this simple, attractive and practical Go To Bag! You can substitute any yarn and hook for this stitch pattern - just remember when you substitute if your gauge is different, the finished size of your project will also be different.
