8" Tapestry Snowflake Afghan Square

12 months, 12 squares, and lots of fun tapestry designs. The 2018 Tapestry Square Afghan Project is going to be a fun way to try out the technique and make a fun blanket by December. The first square is the classic snowflake design. With just 2 colors, you can get used to slowly and carefully changing colors and getting your tension consistent in the first square. Hopefully you're as excited as I am about this project.

Year Of The Tiger Granny Square

Hello everyone! Wow, how time flies by! 2022 is here, and January is almost over. So it must be time to add a new granny square to my collection. It's the year of the tiger this time around, and let me tell you, it was a real challenge for me to make this one. I spent so many days researching both real, and crocheted tigers trying to come up with a good design. What I found more intriguing and charming was the white tiger rather than the orange one; they are quite majestic looking, their cubs are super cute, and to be honest with you, their color scheme can be interpreted somehow easier than the more known orange tigers. I hope I've caught your interest with this year's zodiac granny square of mine. Wish you all happy and warm days!

Tunisian Saloniki Stitch

To begin with, here is a project that looks like it's knitted. Overall, the Tunisian ribbed stitch here uses a Tunsian simple stitch and the Tunisian full stitch to yield a beautiful, almost herringbone effect interspersed with parallel portions.

Moon Blossom Square

To begin with, this blooming flower square is a gorgeous example of how to add a 3D feature to a flat square. Indeed, it's almost as if the flower is growing out of the square.
