Crochet Peacock Tail Feathers Pattern
This pattern tutorial consists of 10 pages with 39 clear photos with a step by step description. These coasters look fabulous in all kinds of color combinations. But you do not necessarily have to make them use as coasters.
I can imagine you might want to use them to decorate box lids, notebook covers or laptop/tablet sleeves, to name but a few possibilities. And they make a lovely birthday, teacher or housewarming gifts.
Whimsical Pumpkin Coaster
How to crochet a whimsical pumpkin coaster that is perfect for Fall decorating or on the Thanksgiving table under some Pumpkin Spice coffee. You'll need 20 yards of worsted weight cotton yarn per coaster - I used WeCrochet Dishie for mine, but Lily Sugar n Cream, Bernat Handicrafter and Red Heart Smoothie are good alternatives. If you are only making a coaster that will house a cold or hot beverage, you can use acrylic as an alternative (like Red Heart Super Saver) with an I9/5.5mm hook - just do not put anything fresh from the oven on the acrylic coaster, or you will melt the fibers and risk burning yourself. I was able to work up one coaster in just over 15 minutes.
Feather Stitch Pankh Dishcloth
This dishcloth is made using the Feather Stitch. It was one of those instances when my swatch turned into a project because once I started making this stitch, it was really hard to stop! The stitch is very dense so the fabric it builds is very thick and sturdy and is perfect for making dishcloths.
