This is a traditional hot pad, honestly, the best ones I have ever used. This is not my design, but a common way to crochet hot pads that my Great Grandmother taught me and I want to share it with you. These are my most requested crochet items from my family! I love to gift them for any occassion, but I like to add a dish scrubby because we always need more. I wanted to help you enjoy making these as gifts this year as well so I created a cute printable gift tag you are welcome to use!
September Mandala

I have worked this Mandala using 2 different color options. Mandala 1: Oyster, Canary, Navy and Alfalfa Mandala 2: Oyster, Fairy Tale, Wisteria and Mulberry You will need 1 ball in each color to make your Mandala. In total we used 4.2 oz / 119 g / 57 yds / 53 m to make each Mandala. The September Mandala was designed as part of the Stitch and Hustle Perfect Picot Blog Hop. The finished Mandala measures 14 inches in diameter.
Sunny Crochet Mandala

With this sunny mandala you'll always have sunshine in your house and in your heart (hint: in warmer colours this makes an excellent Christmas mandala too!). You will be able to make this crochet mandala in no time at all: one evening or one afternoon and it'll be done! You can use scraps of yarn for this project if you like, no problem. This sunny mandala makes for a great doily or a lovely holiday present.
