Mountain Trail Hat

"This hat uses a unique stitch combination to create a woven appearance. Hat is worked side-to-side in rows to make a rectangle which is then folded together, seamed and top of hat sewn together. Hat is worked by alternating colors from two yarn cakes or by working both ends of the same yarn cake, switching colors every second row. Perfect pairing with self-striping yarn but could also be made in a single color or with alternating two solid colors. No worries about a ton of ends to weave in at the end with the color changes as yarn is dropped and then pulled back into work at the end. Yarn floats are covered in the seaming process! Instructions included for size Adult Small, Medium and Large but could easily be adjusted to any size."

Nina Bean Beanie Free Crochet Pattern

The Nina Bean Beanie Hat is a crochet hat worked side to side as a rectangle which is then folded, seamed with top sewn shut and pom pom added at the end. The crochet ribbing is worked as part of the stitch pattern not added on later! An easy to memorize 4-row repeat creates beautiful texture throughout the crochet beanie hat with ridges and a faux cable made with chains and single crochet stitches. Crochet stitches used include chains, single crochet, half double crochet stitches and slip stitches worked in combination. Height can easily be adjusted by changing the number of chains in the foundation chain. Width of hat can easily be adjusted by adding or subtracting rows at the end. 4 sizes included - child, adult small, adult medium and adult large.

Shamrock Hat Free Crochet Pattern

"This Shamrock Clover Hat crochet pattern is worked flat from the bottom up in rows of half double crochet (HDC). The pattern is written for three sizes: toddler, child and adult. You can follow the written instructions or download and print the picture graph to follow along to. Don't be intimidated by the color changes. Since this is a hat, you can simply weave all your ends to the "wrong side" and then tie and trim them. I didn't take the time to weave every end in. Why bother? You're not going to see them!"

Owl C2c Sack Hat

"Made from a corner to corner (c2c) rectangle that is then seamed at the back and top to create a sack shape. Easy, minimal color changes makes this a great beginner friendly corner to corner project! So cute and easy - perfect for any owl lover! Matches perfectly with the Owl C2C Scarf also a free pattern. Made in the double crochet c2c technique for an approximate finished size of 10” wide x 7” 1/2” tall which would fit teen/small adult. However, you could change it up to the mini hdc and/or different hook sizes to make desired size. So easy, fun and whimsical! "

Sweet Serenity Hat crochet

"This month for our October CAL, I have designed a softly bobbled hat pattern for you to make. This crochet hat is easy to crochet and the fabric is made up of primarily double crochet stitches and bobbles. We crochet this project as a rectangle before seaming it into its final shape. This project is suitable for advanced (or determined) beginners. The 2021 Sweet Serenity Hat is crocheted with Drifter Aran yarn sent to me by King Cole. Last week's matching triangle scarf pattern also uses this yarn, along with a 5.5 mm (I) hook. I chose to use Alps (Shade 4180) and the colors of pink, blue and white are muted and calm. Sizes: Small Child, Child, Teen and Adult (Medium and Large)"
