Crochet Diamond Bobble Pattern

Afghans and Blankets

"I love using bobbles to create shapes and patterns, they look great using one color yarn or using multiple colors. They are also reversible and you can push them on either side of the pattern. How do you crochet the diamond bobble pattern? The diamond bobble stitch is a crochet pattern constructed with double crochet and bobble stitches evenly spaced out to form a seamless grid pattern of diagonal stripes. I did a tutorial on how to crochet the bobble stitch before, but today I will show you how to create a treble bobble and how to use it to create the diamond bobble pattern."

Blooming Granny Square Baby Afghan

Afghans and Blankets

Several years ago I hosted a crochet-along for a stitch sampler blanket and one of the squares was the Blooming Granny Square. In the CAL we did small squares as the learning swatch size. Well, one of my contactors loved the look of the small blooming granny square so she made several, seamed them together then added the same border we used for the stitch sampler blanket to her new blanket and voila! The minute I saw it I knew I needed to purchase the sample and publish it as an option for that very cute square. So, let's say thank you to Jennifer Purtee for her vision and enjoy this fun pattern. If you find you are having trouble with the stitch pattern you can always watch the video for the square I did for the CAL. It is a a step-by-step video tutorial that can be found on the Marly Bird YouTube Channel. By the way, have you subscribed to my YouTube Channel yet?

"Make a bold and stylish throw with the Bridget Bobble Blanket. The visually interesting design is full of squishy 3D texture and striking triangles. Worked in one piece, to limit ends, this blanket will pull you in with it's rhythmic back and forth, making it your favorite TV time wip that will turn into your favorite TV time blanket. It works beautifully in one color but could easy become a great stash busting design in the right hands. "
