Crochet a comforting Snowman Lovey for a special little one. A star shaped comforter blanket with a plush snowman attachment. To make this extra snuggly, I have used fluffy chenille-style yarn, but it could be made using plain yarn as well. You can also use different weight yarn, eg. #4 Worsted or #3 DK, instead. Just make sure you keep to the same yarn weight for all the colours. Use the hook size recommended for the yarn for the blankey and half a size smaller for the snowman. Please note that this will reduce the finished size of your lovey.

Chunky Chenille Baby Blanket
This super squishy textured baby blanket has a repetitive pattern that means it works up quickly and easily. Using all four balls of chunky chenille, you can make the softest blanket that measures approx 65cm x 65cm. This is a quick project and once started can be made when watching TV as you really get into a rythm with it. The ridges are formed using front post stitches and create a texture that you just want to kepp running your fingers over.
Gender Neutral Gingham Baby Blanket
"Looking for a gender neutral baby blanket to gift to expecting parents? Look no further. This crochet pattern for a gingham baby blanket will be the perfect gift for any parents who are keeping their baby's gender hush-hush. You will need to know how to chain, single crochet, and slip stitch. This baby blanket with my tension ended up approximately 37 inches x 33 inches. My swatch of 10 stitches x 10 rows is approximately 2.5 inches x 2.5 inches. My baby blanket is 15 blocks wide and 13 blocks tall (block = 10 st x 10 rows), you can alter this as you see fit to make a larger or smaller blanket. I prefer to end each row and column on an odd number so that all corners end in white, for example. All pictures and patterns are copyright of The Loophole Fox unless otherwise noted. Crochet Octopus
Crochet an adorable Crochet Octopus for a Preemie, an older child or even for yourself! Backstory: I read an article about how infants in the intensive care unit find comfort wrapping their fingers into the curly tentacles of a crochet octopus. It reminds them of the umbilical cord in their mother's womb! I loved this but was not a fan of the crochet octopus I found in the story, so I designed my own! Please note: if you are concerned about the safety of safety eyes, please embroider instead. To donate, please contact your local hospital to get their requirements.
