Lemon Peel Stitch

The Lemon Peel Stitch is a combination of two of the most basic crochet stitches: the single crochet and the double crochet. We simply alternate the stitches across each row; single, double, single, double etc. It really is that easy! This stitch creates a beautiful effect, something akin to a lemon rind - hence the name.

Crochet Star Stitch

The star stitch is one of the prettiest patterns I've ever worked with. Although it looks complicated, it's actually an easy stitch to crochet once you know where to insert your hook. What is the star stitch? The star stitch (also known as the daisy stitch) is a crochet pattern constructed with single crochet and half double crochet stitches and simple 2-row repeat that creates a star pattern sequence on the right side of your work.

Primrose and Proper Ruffled Granny Square Pattern

This simple, but beautiful crochet granny square pattern takes the Primrose and Proper stitch pattern you know so well and re-imagines it in a completely new way. A delicate ruffle frames the center of the square giving it plenty of romantic charm. This square would make a great addition to any sampler afghan, or it can be used as a stand-alone square if you prefer. There is a matching bonus square at the bottom of the post.

The Front Loop Treble Crochet Stitch is a variation of the treble crochet stitch also known as the front loop triple crochet stitch. For this crochet stitch, you will be inserting your crochet hook through the front loop of your treble crochet instead of through both loops. This is the stitch your pattern is referring to when it says front loop only for your treble crochet stitch.
