"This is one of my first patterns back in 2004! Back when Sashay Yarn was a thing, and finger knitting was just taking off as a trend. I had found some on sale at Pottery Barn, and bought up so much, that 6 years later (today), I still have a lot in my collection, haha! I use a large crochet hook to replicate the look of finger knit, and have been able to produce a similar look with Lion Brand Hometown USA and Wool Ease Thick n Quick too. You just need a Super Bulky yarn (or equivalent), and 15 minutes."

Sashay Asymmetrical Shawl
The Sashay Asymmetrical crochet shawl pattern is a triangle-shaped shawl. The Sashay crochet shawl is made using the V half double crochet stitch for a beautiful texture, with V-puff stitches 'columns' along the shawl crocheted with different colors creating diagonal lines. The asymmetrical construction is made by increasing every 3 rows, and decreasing every 20 rows. I know it sounds complicated, but it's easier than it looks and once you get the hang of it, you'll get into the rhythm!
Chunky Crochet Scarf with Leather Snaps

In this must-have accessory, a chunky crochet pattern and a leather strap combine to create a scarf that's stylish with a bit of an edge. Glossy snaps are placed on the leather strip so you can open or close the scarf as much as you want, while the crochet scarf pattern uses wool to create a warm and cozy accessory. The result is an avant-garde take on the traditional scarf pattern and may be just the challenge a crocheter needs.

Oversized Chunky Textured Scarf
A super chunky, ribbed textured, scarf with braided cable design pockets and optional fringe. I have used Super Chunky (US Super Bulky) #6 weight yarn which recommends using a 10mm hook. You can use 3 strands of Worsted (#4) weight yarn held together instead, to achieve a similar yarn weight. My finished oversized scarf measures approximately 8 feet long by 1 foot wide. You can adjust the length to suit the wearer. You can scale this scarf pattern down for kids sizes too. Guidelines for downsizing are included within the pattern.
