This Making Waves water bottle holder is a fun and fashionable way to carry around your water bottle. It stretches to fit a variety of sized bottles. Peepholes in the center let you see if you are running low and need to replenish. It's a great way to keep you hydrated on your summertime outdoor adventures!

This bag is just so fun, retro and chic! Perfect hand bag with a cross body chevron strap. With just a small section of tapestry crochet worked in just 2 colors, this would make a great introduction to this fabulous color technique! Full color graph is provided for the tapestry crochet section of the bag as well. At approximately 8” tall (excluding strap) x 13” wide, this bag is the perfect everyday go-to size. Line and add a zipper, if desired. Optional d-rings are crocheted directly to the bag for ease of construction and then strap is sewn to d-rings at the end. Strap is a retro chevron design to mimic the diamond design element of the bag. As written, strap is approximately 37” long once sewn to bag allowing the bag to be worn cross-body. However, instructions are provided to resize the strap as well

"This Jagged Crochet Water Bottle Holder Pattern uses the Jagged Crochet Stitch. This stitch I discovered while playing around with yarn and it seems to work best in the round! If you'd like to learn how to make it in rows successfully you can check out my Jagged Stitch Scrap Yarn Afghan pattern."

If you are one of the estimated 14-20 million people who will see the total solar eclipse on August 21, 2017, you will need to make sure you have the proper glasses and lots of water. We live just outside the path, but it seems like everyone around us, plus TONS from even further will be making the trek to see this awesome event. I wanted to make something to join in the eclipse excitement. I hope this water bottle holder and glass case will help you be prepared for the big day.

Earlier this summer I got to spend some time in the southwest of the US, and that trip inspired the Capulin Cross Body Bag! The Capulin Cross Body Bag is made using the tapestry technique - you crochet over the unused yarn, and then switch colors (repeatedly) over the course of each round, creating images and shapes! A video tutorial is included for all the techniques used in this pattern. I hope you enjoy it!
