Today's free crochet pattern is the Eleanor Asymmetrical Shawl, this crochet pattern is a very open lace design, it is basically made up of mesh which mainly involves using chain and sc stitches. Once you get to the repeat of this pattern it is very easy to get in to! Last week i released the Eleanor Triangle Shawl which you can find here! This is basically the sister shawl of that one just in a different shape, both are very open and lacy and perfect for the summer with their open mesh design, both very versatile as you can wear them draped over the shoulders or wear them like you would a scarf.

Eleanor Triangle Shawl

The Eleanor triangle shawl is made up of shell stitches and mesh stitches which then gives this unique crochet shawl pattern, this is a very open design so with that in mind it would be perfect for the Summer months as you can drape across your shoulders without getting too hot underneath, this would also be great for the Summer evenings when the sun has gone down just put over your shoulders to warm you up a bit.
