Through The Window Beanie

"This fun crochet hat pattern uses the mosaic crochet technique. Don't let it scare you! It's comprised of simple single crochet stitches, chains and easy double crochets. While my favorite way to work this technique is with a variegated color underneath, and a solid coordinating color on top, it also looks great with both solid colors, and even looks neat all in one color - think white on white texture. I used Red Heart Super Saver for my beanies, but good alternatives are: Lion Brand’s Vanna’s Choice or Heartland, Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn, Red Heart’s Soft, Bernat’s Super Value and Premier Yarns Everyday Soft."

Alpine Stripe Beanie Free Crochet Pattern

The Alpine Stripe Beanie is the matching hat for the Alpine Pocket Scarf - a reader request! Cozy, stripey, and available in three sizes! Both the hat and scarf are completely unisex, and the fringe on the scarf is totally optional. The Alpine Stripe Beanie features simple stripes to match the pockets on the Alpine Pocket Scarf, but you can omit them - or add more. Add extra row repeats to turn the beanie into a slouch, or add buttons to each side to hold your mask on while keeping your ears warm. To make this pattern into a ponytail beanie, start by crocheting Rnd 4 around an elastic hairband, and then follow the instructions from there. To pom or not to pom - it's up to you!

Windows Hat

"Hello my fellow crochet enthusiast! This Hat is an accompanying piece to a crochet shawl called "Windows Shawl", which you can find posted here on AllFreeCrochet's website, as part of their 10th birthday celebration, so go check it out. This matching set has a lovely window-like pattern, and it is one of my favorite designs for summer. I made two variations of this hat, the pink one, which has 4 "rows" of the window pattern, and the dark gray one, which I made using a bulkier yarn, and it features only 2 window rows. I hope you get to make one or both. Happy crocheting! Level: Intermediate"
