"This fun crochet hat pattern uses the mosaic crochet technique. Don't let it scare you! It's comprised of simple single crochet stitches, chains and easy double crochets. While my favorite way to work this technique is with a variegated color underneath, and a solid coordinating color on top, it also looks great with both solid colors, and even looks neat all in one color - think white on white texture. My Mosaic Headband is a pretty fashion accessory made using just chains, single crochet, half double and double crochet and only one color per row! With the holidays around the corner, these make pretty stocking stuffers. Make several in your favorite color combinations!Because of the nature of mosaic crochet, this Mosaic Headband is reversible. One side has the pretty geometric design while the other has a striped effect. Because of this I have a unique stretch band that allows you to wear it on either side without any unsightly seams!
