Movie night at our house means popcorn! My 3-year-old son loves popcorn but when I give him a bowl most of it usually ends up on the floor. He likes to play/watch a movie so he is moving around a lot and trying to bring his popcorn along with him'so cute but messy! I thought he would like his own popcorn bag so with my yarn in one hand and my hook in the other I went to work! He was very excited when I gave it to him and immediately wanted to make some popcorn. I filled up his bag and he loved wearing it around/eating it out of it and what's better it stayed in the bag! I added a drawstring at the top so the popcorn wouldn't fall out as easily. He really enjoyed his own special popcorn bag! The bag measures 8' tall, 4' wide with a 4' depth and 14' for the strap drop. This pattern uses 100% cotton yarn and size G crochet hook.

Chasing Diamonds Bag
This bag is just so fun, retro and chic! Perfect hand bag with a cross body chevron strap. With just a small section of tapestry crochet worked in just 2 colors, this would make a great introduction to this fabulous color technique! Full color graph is provided for the tapestry crochet section of the bag as well. At approximately 8” tall (excluding strap) x 13” wide, this bag is the perfect everyday go-to size. Line and add a zipper, if desired. Optional d-rings are crocheted directly to the bag for ease of construction and then strap is sewn to d-rings at the end. My Go To Bag
Straps 26 inches long and 2 inches wide Bag 17 inches long by 15 inches wide when measured on a flat surface Handle Drop 14 inches My Go To Bag is my practical, everyday crocheted bag. I wanted a bag I could use for everything - from beach bag to book bag - a single crocheted base gives this bag extra support - the first few rounds are crocheted in double crochet and then the main bag is worked up in an easy to work granny stitch stripe pattern. I chose to make my straps slightly wider than most bags because when you fill the bag and the straps stretch, they will remain comfortable on your shoulders. If you would like to have a narrower strap, it is very easy to change the width of the strap. Simply add one extra decrease repeat of: Sc2tog, 1 sc in each of the next 2 sts, sc2tog. Ch 1, turn. 4 in place of R11 of the straps and for R80 work: 2 sc in the first st, 1 sc in each of the next 2 sts, 2 sc in the last st, ch 1, turn. 6. Have fun making this simple, attractive and practical Go To Bag! You can substitute any yarn and hook for this stitch pattern - just remember when you substitute if your gauge is different, the finished size of your project will also be different.
