This tote bag is completely reversible. It is worked as one piece on a base and then seamed together to make it fully reversible. I added purchased faux leather handles, but of course if you prefer, you could crochet handles instead. The first side is worked in a basic chevron with a modification for a fun look. The second side has a tapestry look. The bag is nicely sized at approximately 12″ x 13″ not including the handles, but it is easy enough to increase or decrease sizing."

Crochet And Leather Handbag
"This crochet and leather hand bag is a very simple design for a very elaborate sounding concept. Don't worry, it's really simple though. If you can draw a straight line with a ruler, squeeze a hole punch and crochet some very basic stitches, you can make a ton of cool leather nd crochet projects. Why leather and crochet? Some items like purses get the most wear in specific places, like the bottom. Leather in those spots means a longer life span of your bag etc, but it also adds another design element that totally changes the aesthetic. So besides a great look and longer life of your item, it's really fun and challenging!"
Gingham Tote Bag Free Crochet Pattern
"Carry all of your essential items, create ease in shopping or take a trip to the beach with this gorgeous gingham crochet tote. Worked in two panels and seamed, this project is straight forward and has a lovely finish. This pattern is written in US terms. My swatch of 10 sc x 10 rows is approximately 2 ¼” by 2 ¼”. Height - Approximately 15 inches Width - Approximately 13 inches Handle - Approximately 13 inches high from tote to mid point on handle. I used approximately 3/4 of a skein of each color. Any medium(4) weight you prefer to use is fine, you do not have to use the colors I did. I used acrylic yarn, but you can use cotton if you prefer. Please keep in mind that this can change the dimensions of the bag. You can line this bag if you prefer, I decided not to."
Tricolor Tote
"The Tricolor Tote has so many fun details - changing stitch patterns, fun tassels, braided handles - but its soft color palette and orderly structure bring balance to this fast and fun (and free!) crochet pattern! The Tricolor Tote was designed using Lion Brand Fast-Track, which is a really fun and unique yarn! Soft cotton/poly blend in a tape-like shape, it's like crocheting with your favorite t-shirts. And I love the look it gives projects! This tote is also another pattern on my never-ending search for the ideal bag handles. I've tried many different methods over the years, but I think this is the first time I've tried braids! This yarn lends itself really well to these braided handles, with only a tiny bit of stretch, lots of strength, and some great color play that ends in tassels! If this handle style isn’t to your taste, you can always add pre-purchased handles, or crochet your own using the linked tutorial!"
