Double Thick Scrubby Dishcloth

I whipped up this very quick and easy scrubby dishcloth. If you haven’t worked with Scrubby Yarn before, this would make a great first project. This easy dishcloth is crocheted with a larger sized hook (7 mm) and uses only simple stitches. The Double Thick Scrubby Dishcloth is crocheted with 2-strands of Scrubby Yarn held together. I chose to use 2 different colors from my Stash but you could just as easily use 2 strands from one ball of yarn. This scrubby dishcloth took me less than 15 minutes to crochet - so I'm sure you will have it done quickly too!

Double thick and super squishy, its small size makes it particularly good at getting into smaller corners and edges. I personally prefer smaller dishcloths for cleaning, they are just easier for my hands to hold onto! Try this pattern and let me know what you think! Maybe you will decide you prefer small dishcloths too! You can substitute any yarn and hook for this stitch pattern - just remember when you substitute if your gauge is different, the finished size of your project will also be different.

Whispering Pines Dishcloth

The whispering pines dishcloth is a great crochet project to add to the home and they are also so useful to have as well! Instead of buying dishcloths you can just easily make your own with this free crochet pattern and you can make them in all the colors that you want too, how fun! I made the whispering pines dishcloth with a single strand of yarn but if you wanted them really thick (which i know some people like) you can easily hold two strands together and just follow the free pattern below. If you do go with the two strands held together just note they will end up larger than mine and you will need to adjust you hook accordingly and you will need more cotton yarn to do this!
