There is something timeless and classic about a good chevron blanket. I have made my Timeless Teal Chevron Blanket so many times for baby showers that I could probably crochet one in my sleep. This blanket is honestly a huge hit no matter what colour I make it in. I have even made it in colours that I wasn’t particularly drawn to and ended up loving it so much I kept it for my daugther. Using Bernat Blanket Stripes yarn, (my go-to blanket yarn) which is a super bulky, size 6 yarn, this blanket works up in a jiffy. I have made one in two evenings or about 6 to 8 hours.
The In a Jiffy Crochet Throw is something you can actually work up in a short amount of time because it uses super bulky yarn. Use any color you want for this decorative and warm crochet throw pattern. Blankets are things that everyone loves and uses constantly, especially if you love sitting on the couch with a book or a cup of coffee. Wintertime seems fast approaching every year, so there's no excuse for you not to take just a small amount of time our of your day for this fun crochet afghan!
The Touch of Teal Afghan… This is a super easy crochet pattern using only front loop single crochet and back loop double crochet to create the base… The edging is a simple shell pattern. Using a super bulky yarn, this really goes quickly!!! This is a perfect project to make while watching Tv.. Also this makes a perfect gift and will look great in any room of the house!! I used Michael’s Loops and Threads Country Loom Yarn in Clear Skies.
Teal blanket yarn works perfectly with this wave crochet pattern to create a peaceful, ocean vibe for this Teal Waves Crochet Blanket. Wave stitches can be fun to crochet, you just have to develop a rhythm of sorts to keep track of which stitch you’re using. The upside is if you use the wrong stitch, it will quickly become very obvious when your waves don’t line up! This Teal Waves Crochet Blanket is definitely one of my favorite afghan projects to date!
"The Chunky Chevron Blanket gives this classic crochet chevron pattern some pizzazz with metallic sparkle and pops of color. Crochet this throw blanket up in 4 hours or less. The Chunky Chevron Blanket is crocheted in single crochet, with an easy to remember repeat. This crochet blanket is perfect for relaxing on the couch with your favorite show or snuggled up with your little reading buddy. I snagged 7 skeins of this Bernat Mega Bulky Yarn at a huge discount many moons ago. It’s been sitting in my stash, until I found the perfect color compliments. I found a few skeins of Yarn Bee Uber Luxe that were just beautiful together. Pairing them with this silver sparkle yarn was a no brainer."
"Clever stitch combinations and subtle textures make the Peaches and Teal blanket the perfect gender neutral modern crochet blanket for babies. Featuring crochet overlay sections to get amazing colour work and simple filet sections to add beautiful drape, this blanket is one you will want to make again and again. Whether you are a beginner wanting to learn new techniques and stretch your crochet knowledge, or if you have experienced hands that fancy a TV project to work on in the evenings, this crochet blanket is for you!"
