Picot Crochet Shawl Free Pattern
Have you ever wanted to learn to crochet a shawl with a pretty texture? The Picot Crochet Shawl uses two strands of yarn held together for some sections. The Hawthrone Tonal Hand Painted Yarn paired with the Aloft Hand Painted Mohair Yarn creates a soft and cozy wrap. I second-guessed this pattern a few times; that just happens in the design process. I ended up frogging a couple of times because I wanted to mohair to be just right in the shawl pattern. However, I am pleased with the outcome using the Aloft Hand Painted Mohair Yarn on some of the rows and not the entire triangle shawl. And the transition between the two strands of yarn and then one strand of Hawthorne Tonal Hand Paint became my favorite part.
Light and Lacy Poncho
From the Blogger: “If you want a lightweight garment that is airy and soft, yet can keep you warm during a sudden Autumn breeze, then this is for you! The simple construction uses two rectangular panels that are stitched together. The stitches are easy and work in a four row repeat that you can quickly memorize! This example is crocheted using Bernat Softee Baby yarn to keep it lightweight, but any light weight yarn will work. The buttons along the sides are optional. You don't have to work any button holes since the lacy pattern provides the perfect sized spaces.
Lacy Shell Crochet Infinity Scarf
The Lacy Shell Crochet Infinity Scarf uses one skein of yarn to make a crochet lace pattern of delicate, wavy shells. Even though scarves can sometimes seem way too heavy when they're bunched up around the neck, this pattern gives the whole accessory a lightweight freshness. The soft purple yarn has a nice, subtle glow from the sequins, although the pattern can be done in any color to reflect your own unique take on this design. This scarf would look great with your casual clothes, but it is so versatile that it could dress up a nice dinner date outfit as well.
