This afghan pattern is for a kids size blanket, but you could double the number of blocks to create a full size picnic blanket for the whole family!

This free crochet pattern is for a C2C Butterfly Blanket. This pattern is made using mini C2C which are half double crochet stitches as well as Brava yarn from WeCrochet. The pattern includes a full video tutorial for the mini C2C technique. If you've never done C2C before, don't let it intimidate you! It's fairly simple to get the hang of it once you get a good rhythm going. C2C is a wonderful technique to learn!

Ahhh! Oh, how my obsession with gingham is continuing and I'm still so in love! I used the corner to corner stitch to work the center portion of this crochet gingham heart blanket and then added 6 rounds of a block stitch for a giant border.
