This pattern is available for free. The Tuscan Moon Shawl is a pretty and quick shawl that echoes the stitch pattern of the Tuscan Sun Wrap but in a whole new shape and yarn! Shortly after debuting the Tuscan Sun Wrap, I got a reader request - a triangle shawl version! I knew the stitch pattern would present a challenge, but after lots of math and experimentation, I’d like to think I got it right. The Wrap was made with Red Heart An Italian Story Ombra, a lovely color shifting yarn with some wool in it. So for the Tuscan Moon Shawl, I wanted to highlight another great yarn that would work for either pattern, but has no wool in it - and Colorscape was the perfect choice!

Tuscan Sun Wrap
When Red Heart debuted it's An Italian Story yarn line, I couldn't wait to get started designing with it! The Ombra caught my eye right away - and when I put the pink and orange colorways together, they immediately reminded me of a beautiful sunrise - and that inspired the Tuscan Sun Wrap! The Tuscan Sun Wrap is a simple, center out, rectangular shawl worked in a four-row repeat. It's easy to customize for your perfect size. And it's easy to memorize, making this the perfect pattern to crochet while traveling the Tuscan countryside - or binging travel shows from the couch!

Crochet Triangle Scarf
This triangle scarf is an easy, beginner friendly crochet pattern. I was itching to use Hobby Lobby’s Painted Canyon colorway and I think it worked up lovely in this pattern. The self striping yarns are such a breeze to work with-no color planning, less ends to weave = win, win! This pattern will give you the triangle scarf size pictured: 23.5″ deep by 50″ long. You can continue the pattern to increase your triangle to a full shawl size. This one was made with 3 skeins of Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn in Painted Canyon. I think adding another two skeins (with this gauge and hook) would create a comfortable sized shawl. These are so easy to add on to!"
Ombre Crescent Moon Shawl
This ombre crescent moon shawl is a semi-circular shawl that uses the double crochet stitch and a number two fine yarn to achieve this beautiful, classy accessory. Crocheting with Thread-Like Yarn For years, I was a bit nervous to try using the fine yarn for crochet projects. However, there are just so many gorgeous yarns available now. I had purchased several cakes of yarn in different colors a few months ago. Rather than being a triangle or asymmetrical shawl as I have done in the past, it worked in a semi-circular design. The colors along with the flowy drape make this shawl look very classy. This is an easy crochet pattern to work with lovely results.
