Scarfie Bandana Cowl Free Crochet Pattern

When I began designing the Scarfie Bandana Cowl, I only had intentions on making it in adult sizes until I received a request for child sizes as well. She said she really wanted to make a mommy and me set so that’s when I decided to add in the toddler and child sizes. I had been dying to use one of Lion Brand Scarfie’s latest colorways, Mint/Silver, ever since it came out so I grabbed the yarn, grabbed my hook and off I went to swatch. As I was swatching I fell more and more in love with this self-striping yarn and knew it was the perfect yarn to bring my vision to life. If you haven’t crocheted with Lion Brand Scarfie yet, you really should go pick up a ball today!Scarfie Bandana Cowl Free Crochet Pattern

Blossom Wrap

"The Blossom Wrap is designed for those cool summer nights or overcast days. It pairs well with your favorite sundress or tank for that little bit of coverage during the late summer nights outdoors. The design is worked in short rows from one end to the other and works up quickly with only a two row repeat! Using Caron Cotton Cakes gives a gorgeous drape with the cotton blend, and just enough warmth! With an easy stitch pattern to adjust you can make the Blossom Wrap to almost any size! Large or smal, wrap or scarf! Experiment with colour and fibres to create the perfect piece! "Blossom Wrap

Ombre Shawl

Varying widths of off white, grey and black come together to work up this Ombre Shawl, producing a gorgeous blend of color. As the designer says, "this is definitely not your granny’s shawl! The gorgeous stitch texture and modern striping help this shawl pair just as easily with your favorite pair of jeans as it does over a little black dress, and it can be easily customized to any size you like." This shawl is perfect for summer nights, when the temperatures drop without the sun, and can easily be worn into the fall as a light layering piece. If neutral shades aren't your style, work this crochet shawl up with shades of your favorite color, or mix and match hues to create a shawl that's uniquely you. Ombre Shawl

Sunset Static Shawl

"The Sunset Static Shawl is a gorgeous bias crochet shawl that has a simple silhouette created with the crochet seed stitch as the background (creating the static portion), the V puff stitch, and crossed double crochets. For this shawl I used Lion Brand Mandala Tweed in colorway Lucky Penny because of it’s beautiful and vibrant colorway. Mandala Tweed is a medium weight 4 yarn that features 2 strands of different colored variegated yarns twisted around each other, which is what gives it it’s tweed look. It took about 693 yards (1.5 cakes) to create the shawl."Sunset Static Shawl
