Diamond Lattice Washcloth

This cute lacy washcloth is light and airy, to help it dry quickly. Still, it has enough body to it to really help get things clean. I liked using a softer cotton for this, so it's perfect for a face cloth. I think it'd look lovely bundled together with a nice handmade soap in a gift basket! There's a full stitch tutorial included in the pattern, so you'll be able to confidently resize the pattern to whatever size you wish- or adapt it to make something entirely different if you'd rather.

Smoothie Cloth Set

I love being able to make things for specific needs. Recently I decided a hanging towel would work perfectly in our trailer bathroom. The only problem is there is a hook and not a bar to wrap a tabbed cloth around. I finished the top off with a D ring instead and it is just right. Of course I needed some cloths to match. C2c Valentine's Washcloth

I've had Valentine's on my brain lately. One of the things I wanted to make was a heart washcloth (could also be used as an afghan square). Went to Hobby Lobby, and found the perfect colors for it! As a washcloth, C2C can sometimes become saggy because of the spaces in the boxes, and by spaces, I really just mean like a slit from the beginning chain that all the stitches are worked onto. I use my washcloths either for decorative purposes, or just to dry things up – not to wash anything with because of this. To make a better washcloth, go down a hook size for tighter stitches and/or use half double crochets in place of double crochets.
