Our youngest, Mark, is turning 7 this month. Since he loves dinosaurs, I thought it would be fun to make a dinosaur blanket for him and share the pattern with you all. I hope you love it as much as Mark does! You'll need an I/5.5mm crochet hook and worsted weight yarn in gray, two shades of green, a tiny bit of black and orange. "My husband and my youngest, both named Mark, are big Godzilla fans. Mark had been asking me to make a Godzilla blanket for him so I designed the graphs and got started. That was well over a year ago. I kept taking breaks to design patterns for my blog. Mark kept checking in on my progress so I finally decided to give myself a deadline. I told him that he would have his blanket by his birthday (August 20th). Thankfully, I finished it in time and he loves it! "
Diamond Quilt C2c Graphgan

The Diamond Quilt C2C Graphgan is a crochet pixel blanket pattern with a modern look that features (almost) all the colors of Caron Little Crafties! Or you can use all those special odds and ends of your favorite colors and remember your favorite past projects - like a real quilt! Of course, I also needed a background yarn - and Caron Simply Soft is the perfect yarn to combine with the Little Crafties! I chose white, but I think this blanket would be amazing with black or gray as the backdrop for the diamonds. Just switch out the black or gray diamonds with the white Little Crafties skein! Both written instructions and a graph are included. I tried to match the colors in the graph to the actual yarn colors and create a random-ish arrangement, but of course, you can rearrange these colors however you like!
Unicorn Character Afghan

I am so excited to share that my Unicorn Character Afghan is finally done! I had so much fun with the entire process; from designing the pixel graphs to crocheting and watching each graph look more and more like each unicorn character. My free pattern includes a pixel graph and a written pattern for each of the four unicorn characters: llamacorn, unicorn, caticorn and puppycorn. I used worsted weight yarn (Red Heart Super Saver) and an H/5mm size crochet hook.
Bear c2c Baby Blanket

I think Woodland animals are adorable so I thought it would be fun to design some c2c blankets inspired by these cute little guys. You can stitch the four animals (Raccoon, Fox, Owl and Bear) together to create one larger afghan, use a larger hook size to make individual blankets, or, attach an individual graph to a dowel rod and hang it on the wall for some adorable wall art! This beautiful black and white granny square afghan is easy to crochet. It was made for my daughter. I made her a baby afghan many years ago. This will be the second afghan that I made for her. The granny square is one of the most easy and versatile crochet patterns around. It can be used to make crochet blankets, scarves, bags, tops, cardigans and a myriad of easy crochet patterns. You can add color and style to your wardrobe and home alike when you learn to crochet a granny square. This beautiful black and white granny square afghan is easy to crochet. This blanket consists of 5 different black and white designs. Making 4 of each square. When I started making this blanket, there was no end plan in mind. Once I got the hang of crocheting a granny square, I just started pairing the black and white in different styles. I love how they turned out.
