Our youngest, Mark, is turning 7 this month. Since he loves dinosaurs, I thought it would be fun to make a dinosaur blanket for him and share the pattern with you all. I hope you love it as much as Mark does! You'll need an I/5.5mm crochet hook and worsted weight yarn in gray, two shades of green, a tiny bit of black and orange. I chose white, but I think this blanket would be amazing with black or gray as the backdrop for the diamonds. Just switch out the black or gray diamonds with the white Little Crafties skein! Both written instructions and a graph are included. I tried to match the colors in the graph to the actual yarn colors and create a random-ish arrangement, but of course, you can rearrange these colors however you like!
Unicorn Character Afghan
I am so excited to share that my Unicorn Character Afghan is finally done! I had so much fun with the entire process; from designing the pixel graphs to crocheting and watching each graph look more and more like each unicorn character. My free pattern includes a pixel graph and a written pattern for each of the four unicorn characters: llamacorn, unicorn, caticorn and puppycorn. I used worsted weight yarn (Red Heart Super Saver) and an H/5mm size crochet hook.
Godzilla Blanket
