Mitered Tulips Afghan Square

This beautiful square is worked in a crochet mitered method from corner to corner (without a need to decrease). The addition of little tulip-like flowers gives the square a lovely floral theme and a romantic look. Because of the mitered method, you can work this square to be as big as you'd like without making a long chain at the beginning. Stitches used in this pattern: double crochet, treble crochet, puff stitch, and working into the 3rd loop.

Primrose & Proper Ruffled "Granny" Square Pattern

This simple, but beautiful crochet "granny" square pattern takes the Primrose & Proper stitch pattern you know so well and re-imagines it in a completely new way. A delicate ruffle frames the center of the square giving it plenty of romantic charm. This square would make a great addition to any sampler afghan, or it can be used as a stand-alone square if you prefer.
