Halfway Slippy Mug Rug

The halfway slippy mug rug uses half double crochet and slip stitch to create a subtly textured design. Mug rugs can be a fun alternative to standard coasters, especially in the summer! This pattern is free online at my website, and it includes a video tutorial to walk you through the pattern. It is also available as a PDF purchase, which includes this design and two other mug rug designs (each of which are also available online for free with video tutorials).

Mug Rug Coaster Set

You will love the look of this set of coasters on your coffee table. Make these for yourself or as a gift. This pattern uses a worsted weight #4 cotton yarn. What makes the set unique is that the pattern includes 2 designs to make a set of 4 coasters. Both coasters use the sames stitches (double crochet and single crochet) but the placement of those stitches is what makes the 2 coasters patterns different.

Mosaic Mug Rug

My Mosaic Crochet Mug Rug is a fun and quick project using just chains, single crochet and double crochet and only one color per row! With the holidays around the corner, these make pretty hostess gifts too, just whip up a set in many colors or stick to a two color scheme and put a pretty bow around them. Now if you’ve never attempted color-work in your crochet, don’t worry! This method requires you to work with one color at a time — no changing colors mid-row; and the chart is easy to read and follow!
