I made this Ballerina Bag for my 3 year old granddaughter because she loves to twirl and says she is a ballerina. She also loves to play dress up and so this little bag is the perfect size to hold a few of her treasures. I used an old, scratched CD to create a sturdy base for the bag.
"These Diamond Tote bags are so much fun to work up! The smaller size is perfect for a lunch bag size for work or to hold smaller items, while the larger size makes a nice and roomy size for day trips, shopping, beaches, and anything! This bag is made from the bottom up, starting with a rectangular base. Then the body is made using Tapestry Crochet technique. Finally, you'll add the handles in the last few rounds at the top of the bag. This free pattern includes 3 video tutorials to help you along the way with the base, tapestry crochet, and the handles. I hope you enjoy making your Diamond Tote! "

The Fancy Market Bag Free Crochet Pattern has a pretty lace design flanked by a sturdy base and top border. The pattern includes some photos for critical steps. There is also a video to guide you through, so it should be easy to follow. It is roomy enough to hold a wide variety of items, so it’s perfect as a market bag, beach bag or every day tote. I like the first one of the handles, which are made of a braided crochet cord. Certainly you could add any type of handles you like. Thanks below designers for sharing these free crochet patterns. Little girls love playing dress-up. Won't they love a pretty homemade bag in the shape of a dress? Use this free crochet pattern to create a bag they won't soon forget. This unique bag is an intermediate crochet pattern and measures about 15 inches long and 16 inches across. This would make a cute homemade gift idea for a young girl. Even though they probably don't have a wallet, car keys, or cell phone, kids will still use this to carry around lunch money and toys.
This is the "Take me everywhere" crochet tote handbag using lionbrand's ZZ twist yarn using 2 colors from the catalog, taupe and ecru. This crochet tote handbag can be used for many purposes, it can be a regular bag, a crochet work bag, a summer beach bag or even a farmer's market bag. It is flexible and strong at the same time, thanks to the strong base I designed to make this handbag hold still. In the pattern, you can find instructions that explain how to make the strong base bottom. This pattern is perfect for learning how to make a tote bag with flat bottom.
