Tunisian Watermelon Bag

The Watermelon Tunisian Bag is worked using Tunisian crochet stitches and an afghan hook. This bag is a great way to practice your Tunisian Crochet stitch work as well as a great way to practice how to change colors in this craft. It's a super cute summertime purse, but it also makes a great play purse for a little girl. I know my daughter took this one over as soon as it was done. It features bright green yarn, coral pink yarn, and little black buttons for seeds.

For many, summertime means the beginning of festival season. From music festivals such as Coachella and Lollapalooza, to craft festivals, food festivals, and farmer's markets, there seems to be a festival for everyone these days. If you're heading to any this summer, be sure you crochet the Summertime Festival Bag. It's the perfect crocheted bag because it's just the right size to carry your festival essentials including your cell phone, cash, photo ID, and lip gloss. Plus, the fringe adds a funky finishing touch.

Watermelon Slice Sunglass Pouch

Crochet Bags

"I created this sunglass pouch as part of a challenge where the theme was Summer. It inspired me to share this fun, easy and quick little crochet pattern perfect for the Summer staple seen everywhere - sunglasses! You'll need a small amount of worsted weight yarn in red, white, black and green. I've used Lily Sugar n Cream for mine, but WeCrochet Dishie and Red Heart Smoothie are great alternatives. I recommend cotton since a sunglass pouch sees a lot of wear and tear in, out and around a bag. The pouch took me just over 30 minutes to work up."

Stingray Purse or Pal

Crochet Bags

This cute crochet stingray is a perfect gift project to make for kids of any age!

From the blogger: "After making the Pocket Full of Sunshine and the Pocket Full of Rainbows purses, my daughter (who quickly took them over) requested a stingray purse. Immediately I thought, 'That's a fun idea!' As soon as I finished the purse base, she wanted to have it. She didn't even want to wait for the handle to be added. After our photo shoot with the purse, she requested I remove the handle. This made me think 'This could easily be a cute stuffed animal too!'
