A simple design makes crocheting this mini afghan quick and easy. No need for a border as it is crocheted right into the design. When completed there are shells all around. My mother-in-law used to crochet this pattern as full sized baby afghans. It was her go-to pattern on days when she couldn't follow directions. She always said she didn't have to think when making it. I re-designed it into a mini-afghan to include in my Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. A little something for comfort for a child in crisis.
