Gnome Luminary

"Gnomes have been one of my mom's favorites since I was little. On vacations to the Oregon Coast she would tell use she could see gnomes in the trees and tell us stories about them. She really made them come to life. Since gnomes are popular lately I thought it would be fun to make one into a luminary cover. It slips over a mason jar and I put a battery operated tea light inside. It could be used for treats or gifts too. "

Large Crochet Mesh Market Bag

"This large crochet mesh market bag is one of my favorite projects. It is so fun to make, and it feels good being eco-friendly bringing my own bag to carry items. Crochet Sturdy Mesh Tote This crochet tote is made from just one yarn cake! I used cotton string fingering yarn to crochet this lightweight mesh bag. It is pretty and it folds up to stash in a handy place. This one-piece crochet bag design is a semi-circle that increases with each row that is added. The crochet stitches used in this pattern are the double crochet stitch and the puff stitch."

4luck Market Bag

"This cute little bag is perfect for a quick trip when you're just picking up a couple things at the store. Or, you can always use it as your day to day purse. I mean, it is that stinking cute! For my bag, I used Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK, which is a medium wight 3 DK yarn. Cotton is usually best to use for a market bag because they then to stretch less after blocking. I used 375 yards to create my bag. Also, this bag does well with a lining. You don't have to line it (most market bags are not lined, and they stretch quite a bit, but I lined mine because I don't like the stretching! But, do what makes you happy!"

Suzette Market Bag

"Here is the new pattern to crochet Suzette market bag! It's easy! It is made with modified Suzette stitch. I have always liked crocheting Suzette stitch which is sc+dc in the same space. So when I was making my wine totes for Christmas fair last year, I wanted to add a pattern in addition to the shell stitch tote. I used Suzette stitch and added a chain between each sc+dc to make it look more sheer. And I crocheted in continuous rounds to get the spiral texture of the tote."
