Doubly Chunky Crochet Doilies

Put some sunshine back in your kitchen with these Doubly Chunky Crochet Doilies. With two different sizes to choose from, you can customize your crochet doilies however you want. They will fit in perfectly with your kitchen decor because you can make them any color you like but they will always have a fun design. The sunny aspect comes from both the yellow color and the spiky pattern, which will always remind you of that summertime sun whenever you need a little pick-me-up.

Eye of the Emerald Mandala

This mandala was created with the spirit of the Irish, but would look great in lots of colors. Picot stitches add texture as an art piece but are easy to block flat for use on the table. This design is large for a doily at 24" (61 cm), but the open lace stitches work up quickly in worsted weight. Even at that size, it only uses 5 oz of acrylic yarn! Pattern requires a small amount of blocking to shape the lace, but no pinning required - Just shape and leave flat to dry.

Animal Crossing Leaf Coaster

Of course, an animal coaster is not only the animal itself, but the trails it leaves. So, here is a fun and interesting project for a leaf-shaped coaster that has been nibbled by some critter.

Lily's Floral Rectangle Doily

This lovely doily works up in about an hour, and is perfect for scraps. It's also easy to adjust if you want a larger one, or make a bunch and sew together for a table runner. You'll need 47 yards of worsted weight yarn. I used Knit Picks Dishie. The gauge and finished size is not essential for this project. I am using cotton because it's durable, and machine washes and dries well. If you intend on using with warm or moist items, I recommend the cotton (or wool), otherwise any fiber works. Cotton yarn will appear thinner and have more definition than acrylic so it's possible a worsted weight acrylic yarn would produce a slightly larger doily.

Supercute and Easy Paw

Next, here is another example of an animal coaster pattern, which can be adopted to many crochet items as you need. At any time you can make a coaster, an applique, or a key cover. Moreover, you can also make two paws, stuff and sew them toghether to make a cute softie hanger for a school backpack. Definitely, the best gift ever for small Paw Patrol fans!

Irish Blessings Crochet Doily

The Irish Blessings Crochet Doily combines a beautiful Irish Rose with rounds of lucky shamrocks and traditional Irish lace and picots. This is a fabulous crochet doily pattern that you can bring out every year around St. Patrick's day or simply leave it out year round as it's just that stunning. Doilies are typically used to help hold drinks, but this crochet pattern is just too beautiful for that. It would make a great gift for a friend or even a nice wedding gift that can be passed down from generation to generation.
