Full Coverage Baby Bib

Watching your baby feed themselves is a highlight of parenthood, but cleaning up their clothes later isn't. So here is a crochet baby bib that parents will be thanking your for. It will better cover the baby and keep them clean. I love letting my kids feed themselves, but their clothes tend to get ruined every time they eat spaghetti. I feel in love with this towel Bib my brother gave me for one of my girl's birthdays. It was a kitchen towel with a collar in it and it completely covered my baby.

Spiral Baby Hat

Use the Spiral Baby Hat crochet pattern for a warm and snuggly hat. The pattern is suitable for both baby boys and baby girls. The simple baby hat crochet pattern uses bulky yarn for a hat that works up super fast. Try it in Lion Brand Scarfie or Red Heart Soft Essentials or another bulky weight yarn. The beginner-friendly pattern is easy to master. The crochet hat pattern is adjustable. Instructions are included for both a newborn and 3-6 months size. The pattern avoids gaps that can occur with bulky yarn by working the stitches in the back loop. Change it up and reverse the hat if you want the spiral pattern to appear only at the brim.

Preemie Cardigan

This preemie cardigan is an easy top down pattern. It is worked from the top down in one piece so there is no seams, then you work the arms straight onto the project. There is just enough room in the sleeves to accommodate any tube etc that baby may need in those precious first few hours, days or weeks. This pattern uses sc and hdc with a few hdc around the trim for the button band. A great pattern for a confident beginner to crochet - if you know these stitches you can make this pattern!

Berry Bliss Baby Blanket

Babies love both texture and visual patterns. The Berry Bliss Baby Blanket combines both of those to create a fun blanket that your new baby will love to touch and feel. The pattern is worked over 3 different rows. The row repeats are not always in the same order which creates a different visual effect for a nice texture. You will need to be familiar with chains, dc, and the puff stitch (or be comfortable trying new stitches).

With a green leafy ‘topping' and white ‘seeds' on a red background, this strawberry themed baby beanie is an ideal gift for a newborn baby and is very easy to create. It requires only a small amount of yarn, meaning you can use up scraps and create a beautiful present. Kimono Baby Booties

These baby booties were originally from my free ebook The Beginner's Guide to Crochet, along with 11 other patterns designed for beginners. The pattern basically consists of two rectangles sewn together to make the shape of the booties. I used a contrast color to make the soles of these booties pop and matched that color to the border. You can use any colors you like, but if you want something a little more girly, you can also check out my other baby booties patterns at the end of this post.
