Super Easy Chunky Chain Scarf

"This is one of my first patterns back in 2004! Back when Sashay Yarn was a thing, and finger knitting was just taking off as a trend. I had found some on sale at Pottery Barn, and bought up so much, that 6 years later (today), I still have a lot in my collection, haha! I use a large crochet hook to replicate the look of finger knit, and have been able to produce a similar look with Lion Brand Hometown USA and Wool Ease Thick n Quick too. You just need a Super Bulky yarn (or equivalent), and 15 minutes."

T-shirt Yarn Cowl Free Crochet Pattern

"Add some Pizzazz with this T-Shirt Yarn Cowl. Fun beginner crochet project. If you can make a chain stitch and single crochet, you can make this in an afternoon. This crochet cowl is worked flat and joined at the end. If you are a beginner, I think this is a great way to start making crochet scarves and cowls. I made this fun cowl in two colors. While you can purchase your t-shirt yarn, this can be made from old t-shirts too. While I have not tried this yet, I have seen a number of tutorials."
