Oh My Mitts

The Oh My Cowl and Oh My Hat were such hits this year, I had to design one more pattern (for now!) to add to the set - the Oh My Mitts! I hope you enjoy this free crochet fingerless mitts pattern! The Oh My Mitts feature the same stitch pattern as the cowl and hat, all made in super soft Lion Brand LB Collection Baby Alpaca. This free crochet mitts pattern includes two sizes - Small, for teens/small adults, and Large, for adults with bigger hands.

Crochet Woodland Deer Blanket Pattern

When we read that they also have a pattern for an adult-size woodland deer blanket, we knew we had to click the buy button!

Aside from how comfy and cozy this blanket looks, we are amazed by all the details the designer included in this deer blanket. The blanket is intricately done, and all the details are just too cute!

We’re pretty sure everyone will be impressed with how they designed the hood of this deer blanket, but have you seen the back part of it?

They even added a graphed tail and a few deer spots so the blanket won't look too plain when seen from behind.

A cute, comfy, and blanket, what more can you ask

Family Beanie Hats Crochet Pattern

The holidays are always a time when I do a little extra for the ones I love. Because what’s a holiday without your loved ones? If you're looking for a way to show you care, the custom beanies make a thoughtful gift for the whole family this season. They're affordable and unisex so you can make them for everyone! I made mine in colors that look great on everyone too: cream and navy. I made the adult size in the rich blue with white trim and a white pom pom. Then, to switch things up a little I made the children's size (which typically fits 2-4yrs) in a cream with navy trim.

Simple Home Basket

The Simple Home Basket is big, sturdy, and perfect in any room of the home! Pick out the two colors of Red Heart Sweet Home that fit your decor and whip one up with this free crochet basket pattern on Moogly! Almost all of the two balls get used because this basket is made with a liner. It's this liner (combined with a smaller hook) that give the Simple Home Basket its sturdiness and ability to keep its shape and stand up on its own! I love the modern look of this crochet basket pattern with the neutral stripes and chalkboard-look label. And I've included instructions for making the custom label as well!

Emil, the Preemie Crochet Octopus

Meet Emil, the cute preemie octopus crochet pattern. Do you crochet for charity? Have you heard about preemie octopus before? They're cute little amigurumi octopus (or jellyfish) suffed toys. Yes, they are adorable but that's not all. Scientific research has shown they actually help preemies get better. “The purpose of the crocheted octopuses is to promote comfort and development for the pre-term babies while in the hospital. The tentacles of the soft octos mimic the feel of the umbilical cord in their tiny hands and have been found to soothe the babies and help prevent them from pulling on wires and tubes.” Octopus for a Preemie-US Project Ambassador Randi Palm of Lonsdale Emil is an easy, beginner-friendly plush crochet octopus pattern. Only single crochet stitches are used throughout the pattern. Guidelines on size and construction were followed to be sure you can donate your crochet octopus to charity.
