Strawberry Gnome

Summer is finally here and the strawberries are filling up the garden. Among them I found this sweet little strawberry gnome. Crocheted out of 4-ply cotton, with yellow seed beads added to represent the seeds and his dress slipped over a recycled cork, this project really does say summer. The two flowers that he has stuck in his hat, just add that extra little bit of cuteness. This is a quick little project that will put a smile on someone's face when you top summer's first bowl of strawberries with him.
