Simple Spa Slippers

The Simple Spa Slippers are cozy and oh so easy to crochet! They are soft, squishy, and a free crochet pattern on Moogly in 3 sizes! The stitches used to make the Simple Spa Stitches are super easy - it's all single crochet! The only “tricky” bit is the sc2tog decrease, which is the first decrease you likely learned. To keep this pattern as simple as can be, I've made both right and left feet the same. So there is minimal shaping - and you don't have to think about which one goes on which foot. Slippers like this are also great for those with flat and wide feet, like me - for once, my feet don't overhang the soles!

Hopeful Butterfly Hat

The Hopeful Butterfly Hat was designed for the Crochet Cancer Challenge and can easily be customized to represent any cause by changing the color to match any awareness ribbon. This hat is made with 3 stripes because the Thyroid Cancer Awareness Ribbon is Purple, Teal, and Pink. I also chose to add butterflies for dual purpose: 1) the thyroid is a butterfly shaped gland at the front of your neck, so the butterflies represent the thyroid and 2) butterflies are the symbol of hope, endurance, transformation, and new beginnings.

Poncho Hybrid

This simple boho inspired top is sure to impress with the gorgeous yet understated stitch work. Not only is it a comfortable top, it can also work as a cover-up, extra layer or light poncho. The shirt appears complicated, but it is quite easy to crochet! The various textures stand out to create a unique and beautiful piece. The construction is simple since it's made by crocheting two rectangles which are seamed together. This Topcho is perfect for an afternoon at the beach, a casual day out or an evening with friends. If you're comfortable with basic stitches, chains and counting stitches, you should be all set to make this!

Make your own Flower Puff Shawl which is a beautiful triangle shawl featuring flower stitches. The flowers are made with puff stitches, hence the name. Unlike most triangle shawls, this shawl has a somewhat rounded shape instead of deeper V. This makes the shawl perfect to wear up front. This shawl is made with a gradient yarn cake (fingering weight) but can be made with any yarn. The pattern includes a step-by-step video tutorial which you can find on YouTube.

The Great Crochet Pumpkin

This pumpkin is a conversation starter. With it in the middle of your table, people will be compelled to ask “why the big pumpkin” and you can say, “because Fall is awesome.” Because Fall is awesome, right? With all the smells and flavors, Fall if my favorite time of year and decorating with fun (and huge) pumpkins is just one of the best things about it.
