Heavenly Blue Crochet Placemat

Say hello to Spring with these super easy crochet placemats! The pattern is the same as the Block Party blanket from Missed Stitches, but is set in colors inspired by the Heavenly Blue Morning Glory flower. There is no special stitch! Everything is done with specific placement of rows of double crochets. You can choose any colors you like for your set, or even just do two colors instead of three! This can also make a great stash busting project!

This dishcloth looks best in a solid color to show off the linen-like texture. Multi-colored yarn works great for the stripes. Each dish cloth measures approximately 8" (20 cm) by 8” (20 cm). Each dishcloth can be crocheted in about an hour. You can make at least four of them from one skein of Comfy Cotton Blend.

Get in Line, Granny! Afghan

One of the great things I love about crochet is taking an older stitch or technique and putting my own spin on it and that's exactly what I've done here with my ‘Get in Line, Granny! Afghan’. I've taken a typical granny square pattern and added one of my favorite stitches to it to create a new look. Check out the photos in the listing to see both sides of the afghan and decide which is your favorite!
