These mitts have an interesting wavy pattern in two colors. They are crocheted flat and each in one piece. They are started at the thumb, which is worked flat and joined into a tube. Afterwards, the main part starts with an additional chain, and then is worked back and forth around the thumb. Working through the back loop only gives them an interesting texture. I designed this pattern to be a perfect pattern for beginning to crochet garments. It's made from one big rectangle, with the sleeves worked off of that. You then just sew the sleeve edges together, and you have a wrap that you can wear. Everyone should be able to make something they can wear, and this pattern is just the one for that.
