Robin's Egg Slanted Shell Washcloths

These washcloths were originally named "slanted shell" but they actually use the Suzette Stitch pattern - a combination of simple single crochet's and double crochet's. This stitch pattern is one of my favorites! The combination of the two stitches together creates a nice cushion, and also a great texture. The beautiful feminine shell stitch here makes this the perfect gift for her or just for yourself! These would also make a wonderful gift for mom this Mother’s Day! You'll need about 45 minutes to work one up.

Beach Day Lounge Cover and Afghan

I love using cotton yarn for summery, beach projects. It is the perfect choice for cloths and towels because it is absorbent. I designed this for moms of all ages to enjoy while at the beach. The bright and colorful yarns add a cheery touch I hope you will love. This could also be made as a blanket from worsted weight yarn. I designed this to roll into its own bag and has a handle for easy carrying.

Wasilla Poncho for Women

My oldest daughter has been asking me to make her a simple crochet poncho for a while now. And recently, while crocheting a couple of my newest patterns, the Centaur Mandala Afghan and Chimera Scarf, I realized that a combination of the simple crochet stitches I was using would be perfect for a poncho. This is how the Wasilla Poncho came to be! Ponchos are great to wear for seasonal transition pieces. They're also great for late night bonfires when the air gets chilly. Dress them up, dress them down. You really can't go wrong with a poncho!

Elegant Star-stitch Potholder

I love these potholders because they are easy to make and can be completed in just a couple of hours or less. They also make great gifts - perfect for housewarmings, birthdays, Mother’s Day, etc. This pattern uses a combination of the star stitch and half double crochet worked into the back loop only to create a really elegant pattern that is sure to be a beautiful addition to any kitchen. The potholders are worked in the round which creates the double layer of thickness that I love.
