Majestic Skies Crochet Shawl Pattern

While this beautiful crochet motif would be gorgeous in a solid color, Kristin has taken it to another level with 4 gorgeous colors! In this pattern she will show you how to take a square motif, join it together to create a fabric, manipulate it to create triangle motifs in rounds AND rows, and even create an edging ALL WITHIN the same stitch pattern. A great thing about this ombré blanket is that you don't need to change colors, the yarn makes all the colorwork for you. For this blanket were used 650g (or 2 ⅓ balls) of Red Heart Super Saver Ombre yarn in colorway “Deep Teal”. The knit-like crochet border finishes the blanket beautifully.

Paige Triangle Shawl

I can't wait to share this Triangle Shawl pattern with you! It's been a long time coming, too! For this pattern, we used about 2.5 cakes of Lion Brand Mandala or Caron Cakes yarn however, you can also use Bernat PoP! or any other cake or self striping yarn to get the same affect. This would also look amazing with a simple single color or tweed yarn. With classic simplicity and just a little textured pop, this triangle shawl is very pleasing to the eye, and works up fast!

Capulin Cross Body Bag

Earlier this summer I got to spend some time in the southwest of the US, and that trip inspired the Capulin Cross Body Bag! The Capulin Cross Body Bag is made using the tapestry technique - you crochet over the unused yarn, and then switch colors (repeatedly) over the course of each round, creating images and shapes! A video tutorial is included for all the techniques used in this pattern. I hope you enjoy it!
