Native Sun Crochet Square

Native Sun Crochet Square

Looking for a fun new 6″ Afghan Square? This is it! It features post stitches and color changes that create a fun pattern. The Native Sun Square, named for its similarity to the Native American symbol for sun, would be great for so many projects: Beach bags, Ponchos, and especially afghans! This pattern calls for worsted weight yarn in any fiber of your choice! However, this could be worked up in any weight to change the finished measurement.

Waterlily Throw

The Waterlily Throw is a circular afghan with lots of color and texture, ready for cozying up with this winter! And it's a free crochet blanket pattern on Moogly! The Waterlily Throw was sort of a “doodling” pattern for me. I picked a color scheme and decided I wanted a round afghan… and just started crocheting, letting the stitch pattern develop as I went, listening to how the stitches and colors worked together. I was inspired by the Waterlily colorway of Red Heart With Love! These lovely hues create a beautiful palette - and changing them will lead to lots of different looks with this pattern, which is half the fun!

Rainbow Cake

Rainbow Cake

Fluffy, textured layers of vivid colors are separated by thin bands of white. This delicious baby blanket is as irresistible as the rainbow layer cakes that it looks like. The stitch pattern is easy and works up quickly, and best of all, it's completely calorie free - so go ahead, dig in! It's made in Baby Hugs yarn, which I received for free from Red Heart. This super soft yarn has been tested to be free from harmful levels of over 300 substances, so smooshing your face in it is perfectly acceptable too!

Winterberry Throw

And when you're done? It’ll be your favorite throw to snuggle under while enjoying a new project or your favorite tv show. This pattern includes instructions for the individual squares and how to seam and add a border to them to make a nice sized lapghan.
