Tunisian Crochet Dishcloths

Learn how simple Tunisian crochet can be with this pattern and tutorial for Tunisian Crochet Dishcloths. Once you get past the first few rows, you will be moving along effortlessly. It kind of feels a bit like you are knitting because of adding the loops onto the crochet hook, yet at the same time, you are only using one crochet hook to achieve these results. The stitch is a close weave and is great for dishcloths, spa washcloths, pot holders, pillows, cowls, baby washcloth, and much more.

Get ready for Farmers market season with this fun and simple cotton market bag. The lovely triangle stitches give this tote a nice open air feel. The bag is made using single crochets, chains, and a modified cluster stitch - a fun opportunity to learn a beautiful new stitch! You can skip the plastic bags and go green with this bag. Works great for holding yarn too (of course). Made with Lion Brand 24/7 cotton the bag is as functional as it is beautiful!

The Vintage Lace Shawl

I originally designed this shawl for Simply Crochet magazine quite a number of years ago (way back for issue 8!) and am so pleased to share it with you now. It's effortlessly easy to wear and I love it so much I have a few in different colours! It consists of 5 lace panels in different sizes that are edged, then joined, followed by a delicate edging around the whole thing and then finally a big old fringe at each short end to finish. It sounds complicated but I promise it's much easier than it seems.

Mysteria Wrap Shawl

The Mysteria Wrap is soft, warm and feels luxurious. It is worked with a bigger hook so has a lighter, airy feel. The edging provides a little interest and looks so nice around the shoulders and I love the arched shape. Wear it as a shawl/wrap or scarf and if you'd like to make a button closure for it, follow my tutorial for the removable Button Toggle! Get the Button Toggle Closure tutorial on my website too.
